I do a couple of sessions a week (in term time) teaching safety issues to primary school children who visit our specialized centre, where they can experience a feeling of danger in a safe environment, and learn what to do - for example a realistic house fire scenario, a knife attack in a dark alleyway, basic first aid, drug awareness, road safety, etc.

Children would be top of my list of concerns - deprived children at home, and abroad. For example it horrifies me that small children can be employed making fast fashion in sweatshops overseas, and the garments are sold cheaply to people who wear them once or twice, and possibly vomit down them during a Friday night drunken binge .... oooerrr I'm about to rant ...

Children, wherever they are in the world, are the future of our planet. Ill treat a child now and you will have an embittered adult carrying a weapon (metaphorical or otherwise).

I also support these people (warning - you may find some of the stories sad ..)  PostPals

I'm also very interested in nature conservation - have done quite a lot of practical work in the past, and belong to my local Wildlife Trust. We all live on the same planet, not separate islands and states.
