I like to think I've done a good job with my kids. Every age presents challenges, but I'm not too old to remember how I was at that age. Times change and situations change between generations, but I can put myself in their shoes easily enough. Always find that communication is the key in any relationship.

Golden rule was never say anything "stupid or horrible" to a child, as there's always a good chance they'll remember it and it'll bring them down. Hopefully by being decent parents, we're teaching our children how also to be good parents when they have children (if they do!).
