Really Francois, that is what you wish to believe...you are worthless then, die...be dust, and go no where, or be nothing after wards...really?
You think that after all the books, all the religion, after years and years of human history...you think your just 'dust?'
Well then...DUST TO DUST...my friend, good day on that
Thank you, I did have a good day.

It seems to me that many people with strong religious convictions, which they are entitled to, believe that there is something 'missing' in an atheist's life, that an atheist cannot be 'complete.' There is also this perception that we must be very different to theists, that we cannot share some basic values with them, or, as you hint at here, that we place a lesser value on life, including human life.

I am also an Anarchist, how scary is that? This said, I do not militate for the state to simply be abolished, as I think a great many small steps are required for self-governance and participatory democracy and economics to become a safe proposition.

Since I do not place any faith in any given deity, and much less credibility still in the human capacity to define a god of any kind, my principles may very well come from another place, which is not to say I have not defined a fairly strict code of ethics for myself. Since I do not believe in God, and as such, any sort of afterlife, I think this life here is quite probably our one and only shot - Which may explain my fairly strong humanitarian side so that we work towards making this life as enjoyable as possible for as many people as possible.

I don't think one's worth is to be defined along the lines of how much faith one has. Nor do I tend to agree with the measurments of worth, often associated with success, that have been established for the masses. We tend to equate worth with wealth, versus one's contribution to the betterment of his environment, as we live in a superficial world with plastic philosophies, cardboard ideologies, and recycled doctrines that are becoming increasingly insignificant to me. Very early on, we are made to live by domination attitudes, so we seek to dominate others in some way, and we can either achieve that, or being raised in that mindset, accept that we are dominated by others instead and admire them for it.

Such is humankind - There are sharks, and there are sheep - In the end, both one and the same.
And then there are those who accept neither role.
I don't need anyone else's rules.

Faith, my friend
HAVE FAITH...
My faith lies with what I know.
It is not always easy, in fact it can prove immensely hard.
But there is only one place where I can put my faith - In humankind.
