I love the pictures you add, a really nice touch, and you picked such nice ones that compliment the poems very well.

Thank you!! smiley: happy I mentioned it before, but it still fascinates me - after I´d written the three haiku for Francois, I searched for a picture of Fujiyama to go with them because that´s what I had been thinking of when I wrote about the "snowy peak", but that I found one with such a wonderful blue sky ("dome of blue"), and even the cherry trees in bloom to match the "rites of spring" (a bow to Stravinsky, btw, whom Francois loves as a composer) and the "pink delight" - just the perfect picture, as if I´d written about it, that just blew me. And my poem The Model was actually written because of a picture challenge on Klimt´s painting Danae, so it was the other way round here. Somehow, it turned into one of my most personal and powerful pieces, masking the feelings to be those of a painter´s model, but the despair is all mine, and the desperate longing. It started with the thought that the woman in the painting looks a bit like me, and then I wondered who might have been Klimt´s model for this, and that got mixed up with my relationship at the time, my feelings, her possible feelings ...
