Michelle - I understand how sudden and awful a beloved pet's life can be ut short by an accident - and finding the body is truly traumatizing - you have every right to cry and be emotional for as long as it takes. When it's possible, try to have a little ceremony to say goodbye, in whatever manner suits you - it will help you through the grieving process even if the ceremony makes you upset. A favourite spot, and a favoutite toy or other item buried alongside her, too. It will be a long grieving...I still cry about the sweet pup we lost 5 years ago. You are human, and you are going to grieve, so let it out.  My deepest sympathy and big hugs to you and your family.Hug
