Francois - if you are asking seriously, then you could be looking at hundreds or more for 'authentic' gear. It is not always easy to find some of the more popular items , such as top hats or goggles - one must be somewhat creative and inspired, and be able to pull together a certain 'look" for whatever period in history they are choosing as a setting for the 'robotic' or steampunked parts of the outfit. I am only calling myself a "steampunk' because I have the hats boots and goggles. I am working on some other items, mostly jewelry. If you look on eBay or Etsy or any of those lists, you will find the prices are insane for steampunked items. Most of them are made from real antique parts incorporated with modern. You can find some basic items at hardware stores, such as the long working gloves and goggles, but they are not as good as authentically constructed or antique ones. Most steampunked clothing is in shades of brown, which I find to be dull, hence my "red witch" look.
