No matter what definitions anyone wants to apply to liberals and conservatives, I am thankful every day that I am a liberal.   If I ever voted for a Republican, I would leave the voting booth gaging.
I can't vote in a US election (heck, they hardly let me vote in Canada), and I know one thing: I'd never vote Republican. Not unless that party has some major changes and shake-ups, and especially not now that its absorbing the Tea party and moving in all of the wrong directions as a result. That said, I'd also have major hesitations voting for the Democrats because, frankly, I don't like them either. Ultimately, both of those parties are actually petty bad, it's just that the Republican party always manages to be somewhat worse in this day and age.

The Republican party (and those who represent it) has become, to politics, what those radical muslims (which they slam constantly) are to religion - People you just can't talk sense into anymore. It's just absolutely futile to even try. These are people who have grown convinced that the word 'liberal' is somehow evil and that to call someone a liberal is both an insult and an argument. That just shows both the ideological and moral bankruptcy of the religious right in the United States, and they are pretty much the base of the Republican party.

I mean, you still have some of those dumbfucks going on about soldiers deserving to die because it's God's punishment to America for being tolerant of lesbians and gays. There's just no word in the English language strong enough to define that kind of crazy because 'retard' is just way to nice for them - and I'm anti-miltary for God's sake. These are the people who protest at funerals, but they want to tell me what's ''moral?''

That's the oe way you can get me to drink again - Line up a bunch of those people and bring on the booze cuz I'll take in all the alcohol my body can hold in, and when I'm tottally full, I'll literally piss all over them! And hopefully, I puke a little bit too.
