I think that is the only sensible approach, really, though I must admit that while who I vote for is not set in stone, there are parties I can say I would never vote for (unless they redefine their mandates). I would never vote for Quebec Solidaire, for example, because it is, essentially, a communist party.

Now, I'm not opposed to everything and anything of communist inclination, but I'd obviously make for a very poor communist (but then again, who wouldn't? Communist countries have demonstrated that economical equality, or equal outcome, was a great means to share the poverty).
