No matter what definitions anyone wants to apply to liberals and conservatives, I am thankful every day that I am a liberal. If I ever voted for a Republican, I would leave the voting booth gaging.

Certainly Obama and Clinton are the presidents I've liked most, albeit from over here.Where liberalness can be blind to my mind is when the ousting of a dictator is supported by liberals in the west, when what replaces the dictator is something more far oppressive than the dictator ever was, and the process of the political change results in such far-reaching suffering as to dwarf anything that took place under the dictator, I wonder if civil war, widespread death and mass homelessness is actually a price worth paying for democracy. What I say is as someone outside obviously but from what I see I'd rather live in the Libya, Egypt and Syria of the past.

Define ''Democracy.''

A mere word. Clearly the levels of freedom vary country to country but even in the freest democracies people don't get that much of a say, I don't think it can really be any different because it's only practical to have a government and a select few making decisions or nothing would get done but to think it worth dying and bringing death on others just so your political leader can change every few years is misguided to say the least.

I guess that would depend on who does the dying and who does the killing, and why?To the question 'Is Democracy worth dying for?'My answer is ''Yes.''
