Only Human
Wolf 2uk wrote: It is racism, John. It just says that, instead of some being inferior based on race, there are individuals which we view as inferior because of their ethnical heritage which we then insist defines them culturally.Francois When we move from where we have been bought up or have lived, we do so I assume to better our self. If that is true we then choose a place or country which will again improve our well being. I assume no one moves from their country of origin to make their life worse. However over a period of time in the UK we have allowed many to settle. They have been given the same “Benefits” as those that have lived here and been born here (regardless of race or colour) but what we are seeing is a backward step in some cases where women are being treated as second class, that has all to do with Culture and not because our socitiy treats people differently. However as with all Societies when the things start to get tough and employment starts to rise, that Society regardless will search for “scapegoats”. So we have now a free Society, which to some is being abused by the very people who we assume have fled for a better life. Cultures grow as a form of protection, much like a wall or in fact a Ghetto. Strangers become not welcome and so slowly a city will be divided into groups of one culture or another. That is in advance stage in London and other Northern towns in the UK. Colour or race has little to do with what is happening, it’s all down to a misguided belief in the past of living in a Big Multi-cultured environment where every one gets on, but they don’t. At this time we have a near Royal wedding, my views are that the timing is wrong simple because with the present conditions in the country we do not have a lot to celebrate. However I accept that the Royal wedding is by many a good thing, not so Band of Islamic followers who wish to stage a demonstration against “The group, Muslims against Crusades”. So while enjoying the fruits of a free society they wish to take advantage. And I might add the leader of this group lives solely on Benefits including his House being pay for. So what we are going to see is a “Back Lash” not against colour or race, but against a form of culture we have allowed to grow within our free society, who have benefited and being allowed freedom, which they reject and wish, for the UK to be turned into a Sharia disciplined country. Now that is not Racism, neither is it culture as such, it is abuse of freedom, but how would you stop it.

I saw Black folks treated in ways I would not treat a dog. It left a huge impression on a young mind.. The legecay of how Black folks feel would be best spoken of by someone of colour .All the rest is supposition on our part as we have not dealt with what they have.. Or better yet.. read Black history and learn empathy
